Met zijn spectaculaire rijstijl was hij met zijn Ford Escort steeds vooraan te vinden. Ook in 2017 wil Pieter-Jan Maeyaert vooraan meestrijden. Al zal het niet bij de historics zijn. Het team kocht immers een Ford Fiesta R5. Na wikken en wegen werd de beslissing genomen.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cHet is beslist. De Ford Fiesta R5 werd door ons aangekocht. Dus volgend jaar gaan we proberen mee te strijden bij de moderne wagens. Team Floral zal instaan voor de service,\u201d laat Pieter-Jan Maeyaert ons weten. \u201cSamen met Yves Dewulf gaan we een campagne afwerken in het Belgian Rally Championship. In totaal staan er momenteel 7 rally\u2019s op het programma. We gaan van start in de Spa Rally.
