En dit niet alleen in de top categorie. Met meer dan 35 wagens in de R2 categorie zal er ook hard geknokt worden bij de juniors. Het is in deze categorie dat Valentin Vertommen, met de Ford Fiesta R2T, het seizoen zal volmaken.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cHet plan is, om dit seizoen, de rest van het BRC kampioenschap af te werken,\u201d laat Valentin weten. \u201cNa onze wedstrijd in de Wallonie wordt dit onze tweede rally van het seizoen. In de Ypres Rally willen we dan ook ons leerproces verder zetten. KP per KP bijleren en ons amuseren. Het doel is om zaterdagavond de finish te halen.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe moeten immers realistisch zijn. We hebben dit seizoen nog maar \u00e9\u00e9n wedstrijd gereden met de Ford Fiesta R2T. Met meer dan 30 R2 wagens aan de start is de verwachting dat we niet hoog zullen eindigen. Het wordt dus vooral ervaring opdoen.
