Onder begeleiding van de belleman van Wervik en met de hulp van enkele onschuldige handen, werden aan lokaal De Sultan in Wervik de eerste 15 startnummers toegekend voor de aanstaande Rally van Wervik. Eerst gingen de namen voor nummer 10 tot 16 in de bokaal, daarna voor nummer 4 tot 9 en als laatste nummer 1 tot 3.
