Bijna alle Belgische tenoren staan er aan de start in de TAC Rally. Onze Belgische toppiloot van het moment, Thierry Neuville, komt dit weekend ook in actie. Niet in de West-Vlaamse gemeente, wel in Corsica waar de 4<sup>de<\/sup> manche van het World Rally Championship betwist wordt.<\/p>\n<p>Vorig jaar stond de Franse manche van het WRC, de Tour de Corse, geprogrammeerd in het najaar. \u00a0Dit seizoen is de wedstrijd naar voor geschoven op de WRC kalender en gaat deze van start op 6 april. Op zondag 9 april, na een slordige 317 wedstrijdkilometers, weten we wie Ogier opvolgt op de erelijst.<\/p>\n<p>Met drie Polo WRC\u2019s in de top vier toonde Volkswagen vorig jaar wederom zijn overmacht. Een iemand verhinderde een volledig Volkswagen podium. Thierry Neuville finishte met zijn Hyundai i20 WRC op een knappe tweede plaats.<\/p>\n<p>In de eerste WRC manches van dit seizoen bewees Thierry dat hij momenteel een van de snelste piloten is. In Mexico scoorde hij zijn eerste podiumplaats. Met een ondergrond die hem beter ligt, zijn de verwachtingen dan ook hoog gespannen bij de Belgische fans.
